MRV operates in three locations in the United States: San Diego, Wood Dale and Seattle. Since the founding of MRV in 2010, we have maintained an office and lab presence in San Diego, and our headquarters is in close proximity to UCSD and the Scripps Institution of Oceanography. In 2015, we moved our manufacturing from San Diego to Itasca, Illinois, and opened a new manufacturing facility in Wood Dale, Illinois in 2021. Research, development and engineering activities are based primarily in Seattle.
